Story
The Patria Palace Hotel has a long history behind it. In the 18th century it became the family residence of the aristocrat, Palazzo D'Anna-Petrarolo. It was built by the eminent architect, Mauro Manieri, well-known in Lecce. After serving as an orphanage, the building was turned into an inn in 1850. Closed during the 1980s, it reopened in 1997 as an historic hotel, its original charm and atmosphere intact.
