Story

When Prosper Perrin built the Royal Lyon in 1893, his aim was to offer a prestigious hotel in Lyons on the remarkable Place Bellecour. The architect combined a Haussmann facade with a rotunda surmounted by a dome, in a Renaissance style. Thiscombination of different inspirations still characterizes the 4-star hotel, in the true tradition of houses in Lyons. Renovated in 2007, souvenirs, collectors' items and family photos now feature among the harmonious royal blue and sensual red decor
