Story
The walls of the Convent Hotel house a rich history. Originally there were five premises behind the facade, which have in the past been home to two monasteries and the headquarters of Dutch newspaper 'De Tijd'. This illustrious past isevident in a number of details: the leaded glass windows, the replica of a 16th-century-Pieta discovered on the walls in 1985, a mosaic, paintings by artists from the Dutch School, an extensive collection of books...
